Personal Information We Collect Indirectly

Automatically-Collected Information

If you are visiting the Site, we automatically collect information about the computer or devices (including mobile devices) you use to access the Site, and your interactions with the Site, such as through cookies and other automated technologies, as explained in our . Personal Information Collected to Fulfill our Services to Clients

When you engage Stellar to provide the Services, we collect and use information that is necessary for the performance of those Services. Stellar provides advice to businesses to help them grow through to a sale transaction. As such, much of the information needed to provide the Services relates to the company or organization – our “Client” – for which the Services are to be provided and is not personal information. This includes Client financials, contracts and other typical due diligence materials.

However, some of the information that is provided by Clients’ representatives (or in some instances collected from third parties at the request of our Clients) in order for us to fulfill the Services constitutes personal information.. This information may include:

  • Basic information such as Client representatives’ names, positions and contact information
  • Employee and payroll information
  • Other personal information that may be needed to provide the Services to the Client.

If you provide us with the personal information of other individuals, including your organization’s employees, for purposes of the Services, please ensure that you have the authority to do so.

The information that our Clients provide may be disclosed to third parties to the extent that is reasonably necessary in connection with the performance of our Services – such as when we contact potential buyers for your company or organization.
